Community

Kigomani is a small village that makes its daily living from fishing. The village has a coastline full of palm trees and hard-working, friendly people. More than 90% of the staff who attend to your needs at SeVi Boutique Hotel Zanzibar are locals from Kigomani - our way of giving back to the community and supporting the local economy. This also benefits your holiday experience as it brings you into contact with villagers who know the area and its customs and traditions well. They are happy to share the values of the Swahili people with you.

Ecosophy

SeVi Boutique Hotel Zanzibar adheres to international standards of sustainability and environmental protection. Our efforts are visible from the architecture of the bungalows, built from locally sourced materials, to the smallest details of the furnishings, handmade by local carpenters and artisans.

The complimentary toiletries that care for your skin and hair in the bathrooms are also sourced from Zanzibar.

Get to know the beautiful culture of Zanzibar

While you enjoy the breeze and relax on the fine white sand of the beach, you can see the fishermen of the village in their ngalawas on the waves of the Indian Ocean and later, when you enjoy a fish dish, know that it is the catch of the day, the result of their work. The spices that our chefs use to enhance the dishes on your table come from the spice farms of Zanzibar.

These are just some of the things we do to support our eco-philosophy.

Relax on the fine white beach and the blue ocean. The team of the Sevi Boutique Hotel Zanzibar is looking forward to your request.
